Sustainability strategy

At Humble Group, we define sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

We stand by this definition of sustainability because it is inclusive – it encompasses more than the silo-based approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and allows for the recognition of the complexity and interconnectedness of all these areas.
Our approach and way of working with sustainability is based on science.
It is consistent with the global understanding of planetary boundaries and how companies are responsible for contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals while maintaining a minimal social footprint. We take a systematic approach as we strive to fully integrate a sustainability perspective into our operations.

While Humble Group has our own strategic framework for our sustainability work, we have mapped the strategic framework against specific UN Sustainable Development Goals for clear alignment in annual and sustainability reports.
